An interview with local Councillor Nick Wase-Rogers
We are very pleased to introduce our new local Councillor, Nick Wase-Rogers, who is delighted to have been voted in at the May 2015 elections as Runnymede Borough Councillor for the Virginia Water ward.
Nick is a widower and he retired as a commercial property lawyer and proprietor of his own law firm some years ago. He and his ‘other half’ live in the neighbouring village of Thorpe and he is often to be seen in Virginia Water.
Nick has been involved in Conservative politics for nearly 20 years and is well acquainted with our Runnymede and Weybridge MP, the Rt. Hon. Philip Hammond MP.
Nick is currently a member of RBC’s Housing, Standards and Audit Committees and he is mentioned in our news article on prospective development at the DERA sites. Nick feels very much at home in an area well endowed with golf clubs, being a keen golfer himself and having admitted to playing for England Youth!
We are delighted that Nick is keen to engage constructively with the WRA on matters of concern to Wentworth residents and we shall look forward to further news from Nick in the future.
If you have any issues where Nick may be able to assist, he is happy to be contacted on 07900 510052 or by e-mail at
